Bubble Pop

Home / Games / Bubble Pop

Aim, fire, and land a bubble against three or more of its own colour. They burst. Anything still hanging with no path back to the ceiling drops as well, and those falls score double. Every five shots the wall creeps down a row. Let it cross the red line and the game is over.

  3. Fire. Landing beside two or more bubbles of the same colour bursts the whole group.
  4. Burst enough to strip the wall's supports and everything below drops for double points.

Tips

Frequently asked questions

How many bubbles do I need to match?

Three of the same colour touching each other. The whole connected group of that colour bursts, however large it is.

What makes bubbles fall without being burst?

Any bubble with no connected path back to the ceiling row drops. Burst the bubbles holding a cluster up and the entire cluster falls.

Are dropped bubbles worth more than burst ones?

Yes. A burst bubble scores ten points and a dropped one scores twenty, so cutting a cluster loose beats bursting it.

Can I be given a colour that is not on the board?

No. The shooter only loads a colour that still appears somewhere on the wall, so every bubble you fire is usable.

When does the wall move down?

Every five shots. The counter next to your score shows how many shots are left before the next row drops in.

How does the game end?

When any bubble reaches the dashed red line above the shooter. Your score is saved if it beats your best.

What happens if I clear the whole wall?

You take a five hundred point bonus and a fresh wall drops in, so a full clear is the best-scoring play available.

Can I tell the colours apart without seeing colour?

Yes. Every bubble carries a distinct symbol — a circle, triangle, square, diamond or star — as well as its colour.
